Sariayu Solusi Organic Revolution Renewage | Two Way Foundation Review

Hey guys! This time I'll post a review on the product that I have bought just yesterday: Two Way Foundation (or TWF in short) by Sariayu Martha Tilaar's newest line Solusi Organic Revolution Renewage.

This new line from Sariayu Martha Tilaar focuses on being organic! This line marks Sariayu Martha Tilaar as the first local product ever to go organic, congratulations! I shall insert a little passage taken from Sariayu's website about the line:
Sariayu Solusi Organic Revolution Renewage Series made of natural ingredients that already got certification from ECOCERT, an organic certification organization established in 1991 in France and has been recognized internationally. ECOCERT responsible to do certification and check the organic and natural product including cosmetic in 80 countries. This is a guarantee that Sariayu Solusi Organic Revolution Renewage filled the international standart.
Added by Hefryan, Sariayu Solusi Revolution Renewage series not using chemical ingredients that could give bad impact to body. Sariayu Solusi Revolution Renewage series is a product that free from paraben that could causing allergy, free from mineral oil that could causing itchy on the skin, or Propylene Glycol and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) that could causing irritation. Sariayu Solusi Organic Revolution Renewage is a natural solution for beauty skin treatment.
Sariayu Solusi collaborates with organic farmers in France to supply the main ingredients for the line, which are organic grape seeds and licorice. Amazing, isn't it? I've always known Martha Tilaar as a great spa brand, never about beauty, this kind of opens my eyes. Not to mention I was very skeptical of Sariayu since I was young because I don't hear much about it, but I will keep an eye on this local brand from now own, especially this line. Another note is that this line will be very good for people with sensitive skin because, as in the quote, the products are free from paraben, mineral oil, or Propylene Glycol and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. The sales person in the Martha Tilaar store inside Mall Kelapa Gading was very nice and helpful, she showed me this line when I told her I have sensitive skin, telling me that this helps reduce acne and excess oil (let's see about that later on, shall we?).

Now, the products of this Sariayu Solusi Organic Revolution Renewage line are all using green as the main colour portraying it's organic status. Below is the picture taken from femaledaily, in which the link shall take you to another review on this product as well.
>>As you can see above, the compact looks quite simple and the mirror is adequate for touch-ups although for me it could be a bit small and blurry if you don't clean it properly. The sponge is my personal favourite aside from TWF itself. The sponge feels very nice on the skin and it is quite thick, thicker than the one in my Pigeon Teens Compact at least. I wonder if they sell the sponge individually... Correction: the refills come with a free sponge! Rejoice!

The front of the packaging has "cover skin imperfections, making the face looks smooth and radiant" written on it, and the back of it has "Two-way foundation with UV Protector to cover skin imperfections, maintain skin moisture and protect the skin from the damaging effects of UV ray. Enriched with Grape Seed Extract that contains natural antioxidant that helps to protect the skin from the damaging effect of free radical and as anti aging. Licorice Extract as soothing and lightening agent and anti irritant to help reduce skin redness caused by mild irritation".

>>The product smells of grape (fruity-ish), and I personally really like that smell because it smells really nice like the spa products. To those who doesn't like their beauty product smelling, beware, because not everyone might like the smell.

>>Coverage-wise, for me it looks quite sheer but I don't notice any difference aside from that some of my spots did get covered. It's alright for daily uses because it gives you a natural look. After I tried it with a dampened sponge, there is a bit more coverage but it's really hard for me to work with (remember that I've never used a TWF before). Then I read that dampening the sponge attracts more bacteria, so be careful! Or you can try the trick I found someone does from the internet, apply it dry and then SPRAY water on your face and rub it in (this doesn't really work for me, it shows my dry patches). So in conclusion, this TWF has a light coverage.

Unfortunately, there has yet to be more shades for this line. I have mine in Natural Beige and I heard that there is only another shade for the TWF, which is the Porcelain Beige.

>>Usage-wise, I don't think I will quickly ran out of the product because I don't normally use a lot of it. Even if I do, they sell the refills which is a plus for me because you don't have to throw the compact away. When you wipe your face with tissue, the powder will transfer so you might want to just dab the tissue on your face when you feel sweaty.

>>I don't really know how to take out the empty powder, so I threw the compact away because I kind of chipped it with a pin

>>Price: Rp. 169.000,00 [product], Rp. 99.000,00 [refills]

>>Rating: 7/10

>>Repurchase: Maybe, if needed
