I'm really excited about going home now, only one week left! I still have lab reports to be done, and courseworks which will always be a chore, but I have a really good motivation to finish everything: HOLIDAY!
So I'll be going back home to Jakarta for Christmas and my flight is on Saturday 13th December 2014 and back to London on Sunday 11th January 2015, almost a whole month! One downside is that I have to study for the maths exam on the 15th January, oh well. I had told my friend that I'm going to meet her and then give her all the stuff she asked me to buy (Martin Freeman's Richard III stuff and signature). Recently I was just told that my friend whom I met here for Richard III's stage door have a secret twitter for her fangirl side and have followed this friend of mine and have been talking to each other about Martin. She said she found my twitter in one of her tweets and then asked me if I have a twitter, at first I didn't know but then she mentions me and my friend and we kind of had a spazz moment there for a minute asking how do you know each other etc.
It's a small world, and the King of Sass Martin Freeman had brought many people together to fragile about him. Sweet sweet man.
Anyways, I'll probably still post blogs over the christmas break unless I'm in the mood for a whole day of walking around the shopping centre. Or go to different shopping centre in a day, which is probably not fair to my driver.
Oh! Before I forget, just wanting to tell you about last Tuesday's sudden lecture postpone. I usually go to the 2-4pm session but because there are a lot of people from 4-6pm deciding to just go to the 2-4pm making it crammed I decided to go to the 4-6pm time slot instead. So I came to campus from 2, do my business at the library until I decided to go wait in the building. When I got into the building and walk towards the lecture theatre there were still people but there was a paper taped on the door saying that my lecture is cancelled and please check moodle for more information. I opened my moodle, nothing was there, it was 3:45pm and someone else came to the door and was also confused. After a few minutes he went back out and I decided to open my email, and lo behold! There was an email telling me about the cancelled lecture because the lecturer mixed his calendar and his UCL timetable so he went to the wrong place at the wrong time. The email was received at 3:10pm, which is an hour to the 2-4pm session... with probably pissed students inside the auditorium. It was sudden, and a bit of a waste of time so I decided to go to Westfield to go and see the UNIQLO coat I've been eyeing. I planned to go to Westfield before going to campus, but I decided not to and how I wished I did...
I went to Westfield, went straight to UNIQLO to try the coat on even though I tried it on the day before and took pictures with it and other coats. I wanted to try how warm it is, and when I found that it's quite warm I realised that there was only 2 coats (I thought there was only 1 left before I found another L-sized coat with a wrong-labelled hanger) left in my size so I asked my aunt if I should buy it then. She told me I should and I could just return it if I don't like it so I bought it. UNIQLO's Military Coat for £69.90, which is not bad. I even got a free box from them, was looking at the pink one but they ran out so I got the blue-coloured one. When I was at the till, my brother called but I didn't realise. He was asking where I was and if I have eaten, I told him I ate some cakes earlier and told me to buy something from Waitrose. So I did, despite the confusion about what and I needed to FaceTime him to see what he wanted.
Thus ends my day, I went home, had lunch, FaceTime with my parents and did whatever I did.
See you in the next post!
